The Hario V60 has a special conical shape for even layering of the coffee grounds and associated even extraction, producing a clean, complex coffee.
The hand filters are made of Arita-Yaki, a traditional Japanese ceramic style with a history of around 400 years. Each Hario V60 is handmade by a local artisan.
